"Tomorrow will always be better"

Yeah! I finally completed my short story! Huarry!!!
I have spent the past one month writing a short story for the "Golden Point Award-Short Story" competition organised by the National Arts Council. This is the first time I wrote a 3000-word short story and I am very pleased with my work.
The story named "Tomorrow will always be better" is about a teacher and a student who get along very well and then discover that they were sisters. The student, Ying faces a lot of problems and is consoled by the teacher, Sharon who uses the old saying, "Tomorrow will always be better" to encourage her. The moral of the story is to look ahead in life no matter how bad things are.
I was inspired to use this moral by my father who always encourages me and my mother who consoles me when I am upset. Boy, I hope I will win the competition.

I am jealous of Olinda!
Sunday, April 24, 2005
Okay. This is a interesting week as I dreamt of Olinda from Singapore Idol last night after dreaming about Wilbur Pan Wei Bo on Wednesday night. This time Olinda was my classmate in school. She was sweet and lovely. I was kind of jealous of her as she beat me in everything-academic studies, sports, art and especially singing. She was the lead singer in a band of our school. How could you not be jealous of such a perfect girl?

Dreaming about Pan Wei Bo
Friday, April 22, 2005
Last night, I fell asleep while hearing Wilbur Pan Wei Bo's WUHA. I dreamt I was a MC for Wilbur's autograph session. He was humourous and nice.He liked Singapore a lot.He hanged out at a mall for a while before leaving for Taiwan.Boy, if my Wibur-crazy cousin had this dream, she will be delighted.
