Fruit Jellies in my Café
Wednesday, November 01, 2006
Friday, 27 October 2006 is one of those days when I am lazy to do my homework which is due next week. So ta-da! Student turned kitchen maid.
My mother has swept the floor before she left the house. My chore was to wash all the dishes on my day off.
After doing the dishes, I realized that 1 have not made any fruit jellies for almost six months. My grandma was saying that fruit jellies will be a perfect snack for both of us a few days ago.
I was kept occupied as I rushed here and there to cook the jelly mixture and putting the cut canned peaches and longans into the moulds.
Satisfied with my snacks, I started the boring routine of washing dishes. Then I daydreamed to serve my fruit jellies at a café.
The Homework Café was my idea for my entrepreneurship project. I happened to watch the news of a café where students can do homework without being disturbed.
Then I gave the café with a twist. Adding computers and reference books, it became a place for revision and the completion of project assignments.
To me, it seemed like something that I will probably achieve if I had enough capital. Maybe I will open such a café when I retire.
