Dumb Witness
The mistress of Littlegreen House, Emily Arundell, a lady well over seventy, had an accident on the staircase, shortly after her relatives left the house after a visit.
Everyone blamed the accident on her pet dog, Bob but the old lady was skeptical. She wrote a letter to Hercule Poirot describing the accident to him and her suspicions. After all, she was very wealthy and all her relatives wanted a share in her fortune.
When Hercule Poirot received the letter and went to Littlegreen House to pay Emily a visit, he discovered the old lady had passed away.
Was Emily a victim of attempted murder, murder or both?
The most unbelievable and difficult case was faced by Hercule Poirot, whose little grey cells would help him to solve the mystery.
