The Witness for Prosecution and Other Stories
As the blurb of the book has mentioned, The Witness for Prosecution is the most famous story written by Agatha Christie. It was made into a play and filmed twice. Its plot is ingenious and something out of the ordinary.
Besides that story, there are another 10 stories. Three of my favourites are The Red Signal, The Mystery of the Blue Jar and Philomel Cottage.
The Red Signal was a message to a group of people. A man was madly in love with his best friend’s wife and had argued with his uncle. The next thing he knew was that he was the main suspect of the murder of his uncle.
The Mystery of the Blue Jar was a supernatural phenomenon encounter of a man, a girl and a Doctor of Souls.
Philomel Cottage was a story about a woman who discovered the other side of her husband.
This was a great book as I was fascinated and never stopped reading until I finished the book.
